WKBX (FM) meets the needs of the advertising community with specifically designed promotions for both audience and clients alike. K-BAY 106 is very promotional minded and is able to perform the job of relating a client's sales message to many thousands of listeners. With the distinctive K-BAY 106 production truck, fully equipped with Marti tm; field broadcast transmitter, 30' telescoping mast with stacked Yagi antenna system, wireless microphones, out-board power audio speakers, high intensity strobe/beacon flasher, and telephone communications systems, WKBX (FM) excels at live broadcasts (remotes) during special community, client, or station promotional events. Plus, we are the only radion station in the region that routinely guarantees competitive client protection; 10 minutes for regular commercial breaks and total competitive blackout during live broadcasts.
The station uses occasional newspaper advertising to promote special community or programming events. During on-air and live broadcast events, K-BAY 106 rotates the use of various promotional items as value-added give-aways, including logo bearing tee-shirts, bumper stickers, ball caps, calendars, coffee mugs, and fans.
